Thanks for the link. Interesting that it shows big % gains for several Oakland areas but they are coming from a lower base. Interesting also that East Pally is over 400k$ now. Not too long ago those were well under 100k$. I suppose leveling the crack houses and replacing it with home depot helped. Another argument that short commute will drive gentrification and real estate appreciation. Downtown oakland is definitely coming back if you have not seen it lately. cheers ti2
