I agree Intel made a huge error. Management seems to miss the message shareholders own the company.

I'm neutral on the options issue, but I think you're wrong on how the markets will react. I think you should listen to the cases that the companies are making.

They make some valid points. Cisco said that going in to last year they would have had to expense options at $3 billion, and it turns out because of the bear market the the real accounting cost is one tenth that. What would they do, credit it back? Seems silly to me.
