Hi Tom, I'd forget about any V. It's kind of funny, but I can't believe people are still talking about a V recovery. We've had 2.5 years of losses. Even if we have a recovery starting tomorrow, that won't mean there's been a V. :)

Anyway, I think the most likely scenario is sub-normal growth for awhile. I bet 2003 will actually be an up year, but it won't be spectacular. I'm thinking we'll see good years sometime in 2005 or 2006. In the mean time, I keep saving and investing. Right now is the best buying opportunity we've had in more than a decade. I'll really start pouring the money in, starting in Sept and Oct. I'm holding a bunch of cash just for that purpose. Good luck!
