That's one of my favorite pictures. The last thing pet owners want is sick or crippled animals. Bad skin with cats and dogs, usually the result of flea allergies and hip dysphasia are the 2 most common problems. Heavier and larger breed dogs should always have parents that have been OFAed good or better. Parents must be at least 2 years old to have their hip x-rays certified. Always try to see the parents and ask for a copy of their certifications and a written guaranty. It's always better to deal with reputable breeders and you can avoid a lot of trouble and expense in the future.
