Boy, ISN'T that the truth (12 yo in the house) ..I took our 8 1/2 yo grandson shopping last week....had to stop by a mega Fred Meyer...got the kids a couple of videos and some batteries for his toy car....He wanted to go to the automatic scanning checkout lane. I didn't know how. In less than a minute, he scanned the stuff through, took my credit card, scanned it in, gave me the slip to sign, and we were out of there. Amazing! Turns out his mother, my soon to be former d-i-l, is an expert shopper. So much so, we're trying to figure out what in the heck she did with all the money....and that's ...another story....
