What you wrote was this:

We are both sure of that. What I "extracted" was that you consider liberals to be "uncaring". I suppose an alternative explanation for "victims be damned" might be that liberals are insane. I find both propositions ludicrous and flippant. I have never met a conservative or a liberal whose attitude toward victims was anywhere close to the orientation implied by "victims be damned". There are avowed liberals on this thread, and they have never expressed disdain or hostility toward victims.

Such an attitude toward victims would perhaps be representative of a psychopathic serial killer. It hardly represents a political orientation...
