I think you mis-read Steyn.. Go back and reread his comments on Iran where he discusses how Arab speakers are being used to put down student demonstrations.

He has same anticipation as David Warren that the Ayatollah's days are numbered.

We have had the NRO column on what is going on over there, in addition to Warren. I have done a search on AP, UPI, NYT, WP, and no one is picking up on it. As much as is coming out of the ME, you think that someone would be on it.
