ot/Wayne. By all means. Am a modest collector. Of course, Moroccan rugs are junk compared to good Turkish pieces, fine Shirvan Caucasians (my fav) and the better quality Persians. Although I've not been there, my impression is that Turkey is a lot less backward than Morocco which was like taking a time machine back into the Middle Ages! No tour. Rented a Renault and drove around the country for a week, improvising the itinerary as we went. Fascinating trip. Don't get mad, folks. My last OT post, today<g>. Iso
