I quote again Carville (and his conservative wife) who-regardless of which you agree with-are both experts on the politics you seem so clueless about. Every politician has to ask himself about every issue, "Do you want to die on that hill?". CFR relieves the equally-unconstitutional hard money limits-a good first step. And the most obscene parts of CFR are currently being sidestepped by an FEC that is smarter than McCain. GWB had to decide where to make his fights, and wisely passes this travesty to the courts, where it will hopefully die the death it deserves...
