The newspapers, including the DNC's own NY Times, did a full recount of the entire state. Bush got more votes and won. Again.

So what's your point?

The systems in place had defined error rates and they could be tested with test ballots and certified to be within specification. When purchased the machines had to meet some specification. Some machine types were slightly less likely to not miss a properly marked ballot but they all meet verifiable specifications. All machines met specification defined and approved before the election took place. All machine errors rates were defined as acceptable for this election and all machines performed within specification.

The manual recount met no specification in place before the start of the election. There was in reality no time to put in place a manual recount methodology and comply with the statutory requirements for the election of Presidential Electors.

I consider it foolish to rant on they should have tried. In an election you put place ways and means before your start and then you live with the ways and means. And in this case the ways and mean were verified and certified as 100% accurate in selecting PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH.

If you choose to call the above common sense as desperation, Well as I said. G, you have posted nothing substantive to respond to. you motor mouth about side issues that miss the
common sense justification of the Supreme Court Ruling.

Every recount certified the accuracy of the Florida election process in place and how it correctly selected PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH.
