Jurgis, with all respect to Mr. Buffett, his methods do not work well for companies whose valuation consists in large part of intellectual property. I'd imagine that's why he invests in mature brick & mortar companies, and avoids high tech growth enterprises like the plague. >> So how come you split from G&K thread and established this so-called "Long Term Investor's Outpost"? Because my model for a forum was based on polite and reasoned debate, and otherwise non-contentious folks like yourself became enablers for bright but mean spirited posters like he-who-shall-not-be-named.
