Thanks Gulo, very interesting. I just read an article from Iranmania that ran the numbers on Iranian unemployment. The author determined that even with the new reforms, unemployment would run at the current officially estimated 14% for a full 8 more years. He stated that only radical restructuring of the Iranian economy could accomodate the demographic surge currently hitting the Iranian job market. Now that 14% number is the official one, meaning it's the number the mullahs will admit to. My bet is that the real number is much higher. I'd be interested to hear your guy's comment on the general state of the Iranian economy and specifically on these "Foundations" that run the industry. He's voting with his feet, so I guess that says a lot. Good post thanks for the info. BTW I think somewhere in Iran someone is making the Iranian version "Easy Rider." and "Road House Blues" :o}}}}}}}
