The minority is never usually "thrilled"- but the minority religions were treated a heck of a lot better in Islamic Spain, than they were in most "Christian" countries. There were a few quite tolerant rulers in France, who protected the Jews, and to their credit a few Catholic religious leaders also stood against the persecution of the Jews (they wanted to convert them with love, rather than kill them, or convert them by the sword)- but alas, these folks were in the minority. Intellectuals flocked to Islamic Spain, because it was a flourishing intellectual oasis of relative freedom. Obviously it would be difficult for you to appreciate that kind of freedom since you see alternative POV's as "dark and primitive". I'm sure people have told you that you appear to be dark and primitive yourself, and I am equally sure there you can't absorb anything that contradicts your vision of the world.

Why is it no surprise that you can not furnish one single link to support your preposterous notions of a brutal occupation in Spain.

>>But if they were so tolerant and wise, I wonder why the Spanish Christians had to finally walk them out of their country at the point of a sword?<<

That contradicts what you posted earlier. >>Isabella and Ferdinand demonstrated extreme Christian compassion in allowing the Jewish occupiers to leave without harm.<<

Yes, the Spaniards stole their homes, belongings, completely uprooted families with little children, disease broke out and killed many...yup, your allusion to compassion is amazing.
