THREAD POLL <cut and paste with your answer below>
Should the United States invade Iraq? Why or why not?
1) Gloop - Yes....We need the extra space when we drill their neighbors
2) OMD - Yes....but first we should be very public about the evidence we have of their WMD so the world
can stop copping out and claiming there isn't a problem
3) Shootie - Yes, and random killing would be a fine idea.
Arming the women and children should also be considered.
4) Jeff- YES and the Saudi's need to informed that they are for civilized society or they are not. They are part
of the offensive and they are part of the solution or they are a target that will also be blown to hell.
5) JXM - only if the evidence of WMDs is presented.
6) elpolvo - hey! what happened to my answer?
7) Laz - The Admin had better be d**ned sure it's necessary. This could turn into a quagmire that could make Vietnam look like a Sunday picnic.
8) Doppler- YES. We missed our chance the first time. Finish the job and eliminate a source of terrorism. Plus Gloop tells me it's a good idea and that he needs the oil.
9) SS - Yes. But it had better be massive and it had better be quick. The longer we're there, the more time to turn the entire world against us. Once we start, there's no backing out. It is imperative that we have both Iran and Turkey behind us or it will fail.

10)MulhollandDrive-yes. we need cheap oil. plus deterring an overthrow of the saudi govt. by the wahabees will be solidified.

May I vote, even if I'm not a member of the group?

If so I agree with you...

I think that is the reason we "LOANED" Turkey the money!

Whether it meets anyones criteria or not were going to attack. It would be nice to have support (and we should) but we don't and thats ok. We can do the job alone although I suspect this one could get ugly. Iraq has had 10 years to develop their biological program, 6 of them being unsupervised. I hope they realize whats going to happen if they pull them out.
