I've been shorting MS since 114, short/cover/reload, it's been just fine as far as profit goes, and is an action consistent with my assessment of their long-term prospects. I certainly wouldn't call any tech stock a channeling candidate for traders right now, not even the holy Weendozesoft.

Like you would pay attention anyways. If you'd bury your hatred for MSFT for 10 minutes and concentrate your attention on the market, you might make some money

let me get this straight, you couldn't believe MSFT would ever get to $50 a share, let alone $40.... so you owned it all the way down and haven't made a dime in MSFT for nearly five years.... then you lost a ton of money in AMAT, CSCO, NVLS ect...ect.... and relied on Tech stocks right exactly at the worst time to rely on them..... and more importantly, you wasted a whole lot of time through all this...

and now you want to tell us how to make money?

you want us to rely on performance like you've just demonstrated? did you have ANYthing else except tech stocks? or are you the guy we read about that have 20% of what they used to have.... boy i'll bet you thought it was easy during the great bull market..... telling us all how the ride would never end.....

by the way, that day in particular was the worst day you could possibly have owned MSFT, MSFT led the entire market down from there, never looking back.... you should have given a little rats arse what someone was saying besides what you were....

your strategy of just buying and holding just didn't pan out, did it.......did you really do what you said you were going to do? which was hold on to them because you weren't a good timer?
