No doubt about it. All bad choices. But my view is that none are as bad as the other alternative (not doing anything and allowing him and his successors to acquire WMD).

Tim, a good reason to do nothing. The potential downside from an invasion is great and I think outweighs the danger of staying put and waiting it out.
