Muslims make up 1/3 of the world. Its more like 20-23%. The CIA world book determined [see link below] that the Muslim population was at 26% of the world's in 1996. A few months ago I saw another link that said Muslims made up over 30% of the world's population in 2000 but I couldn't locate the link tonite. However, whether they are 20% or 30% of the world's population is not the issue. I think the real issue is that we need to work to improve our relationship with them. ted islamicweb.com
