RS: AMD has to differentiate itself from INTC. They are never going to have the budgets for R and D and therefore will fall on their butts unless they (AMD) come up with a sound strategy. I think that this is a better way to do it than messing with clock speeds. JFD

It would be one more example of Apple making a dump move. They seem always able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, and going with AMD instead of Intel would be another prime example.

You've got to consider the mentality. They never grew up. It's more important to give the finger to the establishment than to be successful. I'm sure you know the type.
