In 2000 and 2001, AMAT went on to hit new lows even as it was hitting record EPS....the same applies here. The price will turn up when EPS appears horrible. I have no idea exactly when we will see a violent reversal, only that the Bears will once again claim that AMAT has no earnings as the stock moves skyward.....they will make this claim in utter desperate futility as it will appear to everyone who does not follow the sector that indeed AMAT(and the sector) is overvalued.

To paraphrase an oft quoted Carville line from the early 90's, "It's not the rear view mirror stupid!"
