My logic was straightforward, which is the reason you want to shift the debate to another topic.

The U.S. illegally bombed the Sudanese pharmaceutical plant, and this had a far-reaching effect on the Sudanese population. We don't know the exact effect, because the U.S. blocked an investigation into the matter.
