Ye who only sees things in the eys of "process",

RE:"Based on the slips in AMD's .13um process and products, it looks like AMD has already fallen on their "butt", IMVHO."

AMD is losing share and money because the Athlon is slower in Quantispeed and/or Mhz. The cannot and will not make ground up on Intel until they can ship a chip that is "faster" than Intels and significantly faster.
.13u process will not do it for AMD and the Athlon. Even at .13u and a revision or two, the Athlon can't do better than a tie 2800+ by the end of the year AT BEST. They need the new core (Hammer) now. They can't deliver it (not to mention they should have added a few more stages to the pipeline if that could have gotten them more raw Mhz). They have lost Christmas for the second year in a row.
Everyone must be gasping for breath there. They are suffocating.
