Up is down and black is white it seems... I made no such claim, however I did solicit an opinion. You claim social liberalism leads to murder. You are indeed gifted in your ability to read my thoughts :-)

While true about murder, other violent crime rates (in other western democracies), if I remember correctly are roughly the same as the U.S. (some higher, some lower). On the plus side, The United States has a higher per capita income than almost all of the western democracies (and a higher median household income). I believe that the unemployment rate in the United States is also lower than most other western democracies.
