the advertising business is slow too, but it usually is in the summer. Rose, I've been in the advertising business since 1968. Have had my own company since 1974. I can tell you that I've never seen worse. Friends that I talk to in Dallas and Miami, weave the same tale. And there's not much light at the end of the tunnel. This is one economy I wouldn't want to be starting a new business in. On the brighter side of things, Uncle Sam will start paying me BIG TIME ($1100. a month) when I opt for early S/S in two years. Gawd, I can hardly wait! ;-)
