Hi larry: I am amazed that cvc is at $5.00 a share, the whole cable industry is in free fall. But then look at csco, with all its cash on hand and it is only about $12.00.
GE at 30, mr softie in the $40's even with over $50B in cash on hand. It is totally crazy.
The markets are so volitile, all I am doing is sitting back and riding it out. My anchor holding is Viacom and I am sticking with it. All my other spec plays are in the dumps, but who know what the future has in store for us. :-)
John
P.S. Look at Triarc, it has $30.00 cash per share on hand, yet the shares are selling at $25....... it makes no sense.

Hi Larry: We went through $41.00 with ease, hope it holds but it bodes well for the future. 3rd qtr results should be very good, given the politicial races and the pick up in ads. Paramount needs to get a few good movies out, CBS TV is doing very well on the ratings, Radio ads are on the improve also.
