Thanks, Frank. I first used the term 'mother of all chasms' about 1 1/2 years ago. It has taken a while to figure out what it meant.

My interest is in the biotech arena because as I get older(and better) I'm more aware of the growing need for better medical care and drugs. For sure! This year has been a dismal year for certain sectors(make that most sectors), but especially for the biotechs. Trust me on this one...because I've been holding many of them! However, with that said, I recently became aware of a company that has bucked this trend nicely and IMO is poised to become one of the winners in the new drug category. The company is Allos Therapeutics(ALTH) and with the current market environment, they are within a few pennies of trading at their 52 week high, they have a horde of money(well over $50million to see them through until their first line drug is approved and launched) and a drug in the final stages of their Phase III trials.

For those interested in biotechs, I welcome you to research what ALTH has to offer. To assist you, I have started a new thread here on SI with some of the available information. I would suggest that you contact the company for more information about their drugs and the ongoing trials.
