I think the Don Sew post was in response to Paul wondering when we'd get a "good" retest, not something within 7-8%. Don Sew considers a "good" retest within that range. From reading Don in the past, I'm sure that data was backtested!

no shit. who gives a rip who said what when.

Pick your spots ...there's plenty of em for BOTH bulls and BEARS.

and anybody who thinks you have to catch every turn to make money is a flat out knucklehead...especially in a market like this. By their very nature, good objective traders will always miss turns.

Please disregard my post of Don Sew's index update. It was an old post and I carelessly posted it thinking it was his most recent update. Sorry for the f**k up.

Yeck, what *is* going on in Smelly? In the past three days, we've got three waves up, a formless wave down, three more waves up, and now overlap back down. Is there any intermediate-term bullish interpretation of this?

I can see us having done A up, launching c of B down at the open. There would be an impulse up looming after a low this afternoon - Fed rally?

NDX isn't quite as ugly, but I don't see it completely separating from its stinkier cousin. So I would expect Onischka's preferred to be negated. However, I could see his near-term targets of 990 hit there on the C impulse next week.

As I'd said before - with my short-term pointing up and long-term still pointing down, I'm doing trading range strategies around my core positions.
