mm: Looks like a kewl restaurant...

Thanks for sharing the info. and website with us. A few years ago I used to get to New York regularly for business (that's when I worked for a media company that had our 2nd largest office right across from Grand Central Station). Even though we were headquartered in Iowa our management team moved around a lot -- in fact, we had corporate apartments in the Helmsley Middletowne that some of us could use for longer stays...I'm not sure they still have them in these days with tighter budgets <G>...I've moved onto the high tech and consulting world and haven't been back out east as much.

I just met a neat girl through a family friend. She grew up in my hometown in Michigan and went to culinary school in Hyde Park, NY...after rotating through some restaurants out east she ended up coming to work for Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (http://www.leye.com) ...It's a legendary restaurant firm founded by Richard Melman. My friend Sara is now General Manager of one of their larger restaurants in Chicago -- Shaw's Crabhouse(http://www.shawscrabhouse.com/about_us.shtml) ...Tonight she's invited me to an event she organized -- a special dinner at the restaurant and then we take trolleys over to The Schubert Theater to see the play Billy Joel's 'Moving Out'....It should be fun.

Hope you enjoy the weekend.

regards,

-Scott
