<<...Frankly, the stock market is so MORIBOUND that only news of W's PERMANENT leave could shake it out of it.
Should be worth a 10-20% pop at least...>>

Well, according to a recent column by John Dean (from the Watergate era) we have about 2 to 1 odds that we may see a major White House scandal...Patience...there are all kinds of things that could provide fuel for a rally in the stock market...=)

on CNBC a former FedGovernor was quoted "dont expect cut"

he said the stock market is falsely pricing in a Fed rate cut
I cannot remember his name
he said the Fed has cut so much
and the economy is showing some signs of vigor
and stock market will have to remove the cut expected from current prices

my personal take is consistent with that CNNMoneyStaff guy
the Fed is shooting blanks if it cuts rates
I believe in 1931 the Fed last cuts had absolutely zero effect
the result was another 40% downleg !!!

we could have seen a Goldman Sux ploy to trigger a bear rally
I am convinced these thieves are shorting the indexes with leveraged index option puts after a couple days of rally
