And torq - you surely understand that Mr. Buffett's company is the most highly leveraged outfit in this universe. That $37 billion he has to spend is premium money from insurance. To buy pipelines, etc. he has to SELL bonds. He doesn't keep the cash in a vault like Scrooge McDuck.

He calls himself the 'Fort Knox of Capital', bragging about his liquidity, then has to sell something to get the cash. By your logic, it wouldn't make sense. But it does.

Cheers

MAELING: <This activity is criminal. It costs this country more than terrorist attacks because it strikes at the very engine of our prosperity - trust in the financial system.>

I thought I'd read every insult against Mr. P$nk, many would make a proctologist blush. Now Mr. P$nk is being compared to alQueida. There is no rhetorical value in such an ugly statement. Ask the families of victims last September 11 if they fear hedge chatter on the internet as much as terrorism.

Let's keep this in perspective. Your post would have been stronger if you left out the last paragraph of personal attack, IMHO.

hey torq - I reread my message. When I say <<Which is why they are approaching him for sales a la Williams X2, and Dynegy.>> I'm talking about other players in the merchant energy arena. Far as I know EP is partnering WITH Buffett, not selling TO him.
