I love quiet before the storm: what more could you want? The real action will be in the quality juniors. There are about a dozen and a half quality juniors who managed to raise some capital during the mini-boomlet late last spring. Those stocks have corrected, but right now there is more activity on the exploration front than in over a half a decade. It will only take one big discovery and the whole sector will erupt, and higher POG will just add fuel to it. The second catalyst is the desperation of the majors (one of the reasons the big names have been lagging here, analysts and gold investors oriented investors are asking, "where's your gold in five years?") to come up with decent deposits, so look for a few takeouts to light a fire as well.
