they are charging $43/mo on the 1.5MB line , and introducing higher speed connect under the catchy
name "Ultra-Link @ 3MB's for $79 , which is what SBC'c
been charging for their "enhanced" DSL...

This site seems to suggest you can simply uninstall it. I started the process and got warnings it could impact other things, so cancelled the uninstall (Sheesh-why couldn't geeks just call it 'removal' instead of uninstall?). I dunno if the warnings are an empty threat. But it sure is annoying on bootups to click twice that "No I do not want Client Foundation to access the Net".

Imo, ATTBI has gotten worse since Spring and this is just one reason why.
