Yes Ted, the LA riots were an "eye-opener" for many. I couldn't believe how
the African American community targeted the Asian businesses for vandalism.
I guess I just didn't realize how much the Asians had "persecuted" African Americans.


Yousef, it was primarily Korean businesses; many of them operated shops in the black and Latino communities.

But they were not the only non black/non Latino target........its a little known fact that the rioters were trying very hard to push into Beverly Hills. The situation was so desperate that the LAPD had to join the Sheriff's Dept in pushing the rioters back from the Beverly Hills borders. You see it was one thing to trash LA but it was quite another to trash Beverly Hills.

Can you see the difference?
