all the bookeeping BS would go away if dividend income were treated as capitol gains instead of regular income.

immagine: "I could care less about earnings .. how is my dividend doing?"

Focus would return to ROI instead of the "greater fool" game ..

Are you suggesting that we've been conned into believing that the reason tech companies don't offer dividends is not because they are investing the dividend $s to fuel their growth, but actually to fuel their stock buyback due to dilutive stock options that make the management rich?

How's that run-on sentence?
