Isn't that the truth sometimes....We once were offered a Kittinger large table for $300.....in perfect shape...Don't think they really knew what it was...had been handed down in the family...If we had had room at the time, believe me, we would have...it was worth about $7,000 an antique dealer told us (this was in the late 1960's...)

<<Once, and I'm still kicking myself...I passed on a Henredon queen bedroom set....it was perfect....just didn't have a need or a place to store it for future use.....
it sold complete for 300$>>

At a farm auction I bought a new day bed for a buck. Bought a really nice chair for $7.

One auction the guy had just bought an expensive bedroom set that was still in the delivery plastic That brought less than 5 old stretched out 20' chains. The guy had been mowing with a JD 4020 and fell off. The tractor got stuck just as he went under the brush hog. An hour later a neighbor noticed something wrong. Parts of his clothes were all that were left to bury.
