Ramsey: Nope. I understand that the EU is not "Europe". It is a limited area within "Europe" where there is a supra bureaucracy which trumps national governments cards.

Very much understand that Eastern Europe and Russia and all the former Soviet Union "states" are open to CDMA - if they choose to be without the restrictions EU imposes on its own.

The joke of course is that Russia is just now noticing that the GSM cartel has put them on. Perhaps CDMA will be possible there beyond WLL, but the Russian mafia may or may not permit that - in the past CDMA mobile was prohibited. We shall see.
