Have a look at the Washington Week discussion on Bush's economic conference in Wako.

There was no one there who would challenge Bush or O'Neill, according to Jeanne Cummings from The Wall Street Journal All the participants had been "hand picked."

Bush and Cheney represented the interests of the oil and energy industries at Bush's
economic forum
so it wasn't necessary for Kenny Boy to be there.
After all, Kenny Boy and Enron were Bush's biggest
campaign contributors and when Bush and Cheney needed extra help for transportation during
the 2000 election, they used Enron and Halliburton's airplanes although the Republicans
paid for the use of the planes.

"The Bush campaign poured $13.8 million into winning the post-election battle for Florida's
25 electoral college votes, roughly four times
what the Gore campaign spent, according to documents released yesterday."

"In addition, the fund paid two controversial companies for the use of their jets:
Just over $13,000 to Enron Corp. and $2,400 to Halliburton Co."

So, TP, when they needed help, Bush and Cheney could count on Enron and Halliburton. According to the press,
Halliburton has done very well financially from Bush's war terrorism or another way of putting it Bush's
war on himself and the US since we will pay the price for Bush's foolishness. JMOP

On tv last night I heard a representative from Canada say that Canada would not support a US attack on
Iraq.
