I think Gore needed a better press agent. He should have stuck with Carville instead of whoever he had. Gore's weak spot is his idealism where he thought that Jr. would stick with Constitutional means to gain power. The President always has to be on the lookout for those who would subvert democracy and respond appropriately. Gore should have had his own security team to beat back the DeLay goon squad.
