Am I supposed to feel bad? It's a little abstract since Afganistan is far away, but I think so. These Afgan civilians had no more to do with the 9/11 Trade Center attack than the brokers in the Trade Center had to do with the price of tea in Kabul. The equivalency in deaths pretty much uses up the moral outrage arguments, and having spent those arguments it worth wondering what was gained. The question on the table is Are we even yet?. If not what is left to even the score. A corellary is what the heck Saddam has to do with any of it. TP
