I was absolutly rocking till about 6 weeks ago, being up 28% mostly due to Golds and IBM and JPM shorts. I gave back some in the golds before taking profits and I got a premature buy signal on the retest of the CSCO bounce. I got clobered. I am more of a swing trader so these whipsaws are tough on the stops. I got stoped out on Monday of the longs I bought last week, all up but if Id held I would have had a superior week. Have to be disciplined though, no?
For my style of trading these big interday moves are tough cause I use tight stops on both longs and shorts. What is the basis of your system.

The first half of the year I was trading like a friggin panzy.

I gave myself a kick in the ass and have had a little more faith in my decisions and gave myself a little more room for error.

I'm starting to come back. Making a little bit of pocket change now.

No matter how bad it's got, at least things haven't gotten as bad as it did for this dude.
