Enemies must be destroyed.

Whatever gave you that idea? In the US we have a saying, "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer." Well, it is a Mafia saying, but it's rather popular with the rest of us.

There's no way to destroy China, it's a big country with a lot of people. Big beautiful country with a lot of wonderful people. No country is ever destroyed.

Sometimes countries fight wars, and sometimes they lose, but that's not the same as destruction.

Around 40 million Chinese died during WWII, but that's not the same as destruction.

Nor can the US be destroyed.

So we have to figure out how to get along. Selling weapons to our enemies in times of peace is something we don't like. Selling weapons to our enemies in time of war makes you an accomplice.

This is a time of war.
