"absolute power corrupts absolutely" doesn't describe the worker bees who do what they're told. OT "governments are not to be trusted", which is why I personally say "Amen" to "one Nation under God"; and "in God We Trust" - it says that right here on my money, so help me God.

In places where corruption is tolerated, it infects every level of government, from the cops on the street to the people who hand out permits to judges to cabinet members. Some places in the US (Chicago, Louisiana) aren't much better than the Third World.
