Speaking about gluts when do you think the storage glut will end?
>>Emulex (ELX: news, chart, profile) shares were hammered down 35 percent to a 10-month low Friday after the data storage products company issued a lower-than-expected sales outlook. See full story.

"Expected revenue growth is disappointing, competition is heating up, and for now, the market appears to be moving away too quickly for Emulex's traditional high-end business to keep up," said Goldman Sachs analyst Laura Conigliaro in a morning note to clients.

Other companies in the storage and storage networking sector tumbled. Brocade (BRCD: news, chart, profile) lost 11 percent to $15.36, Network Appliance (NTAP: news, chart, profile) slid 8 percent, McData (MCDTA: news, chart, profile) shed 5 percent each, QLogic (QLGC: news, chart, profile) lost 9 percent, and EMC (EMC: news, chart, profile) lost 3.3 percent.
