PB - No, accounting isn't a science -- more of a black art, like being a petroleum geophysicist. As for Ebbers, or any CEO who would try to claim that they didn't know what was going on down the hall in Treasury, that's patent bullshit from someone trying to avoid responsibility for things that rest squarely upon their over-compensated shoulders. IMO the CEO "Not me, he did it" defence should automatically warrant double the jail time upon conviction for continuing to try to lie their way out of it. Vote for me this fall for County Judge.....
