Once again the British fell down on the job and did not follow through with the land transfer to the Black population and paying compensation to the white farmers who "sold" their land to the British administrators. They created the situation until it came to this drastic measure, although I am not fan of Mugabe. Add that incompetence to the double-dealing they did to the Arabs in Palestine in the 1930s and 1940s.
