everyone wonders just what it is that is the bush message, agenda, aim, goal.. whatever as opposed to those of us on this side of the puddle who have an absolutely clear picture of the shrub agenda, lol. anyway, the great thing about this republic is that every president comes with a built-in expiration date. for all the angst and protests, i don't recall the reagan 80s being like this. what i most remember is the crowd at reagan's "tear down this wall" speech. whatever else his legacy may be, it was/is one of the most fundamentally moving moments of my life and something for which i will always be grateful to him for.
