Did you tape Part 2 of First Day at Work??
DId she catch you at it?
I bet she was dressed very nicely. I'm sure girlchildren are much more fashion savvy than boychildren.

Because oh dear, oh dear, your tongue-in-cheek description of Ammo IS Ammo at his most glorious.(well, minus druid ladies- at least that I know about).

His favorite t-shirt, which has developed small holes in it that he refuses to acknowledge and has convinced himself no one will notice, is white with a black tie imprinted on it. He wears it when we go out to restaurants if I thoughtlessly say something like, "Could you dress up a little?"

When he was in forensic competitions, we bought him a very expensive dark suit and he insisted on wearing it with a black shirt and a silvery black tie. Actually the girls loved him, and by the end of the year, we realized that it had become the uniform for all the guys.
He has no clothes sense at all, and yet he somehow carries it off. He just left for a party in a very baggy pair of khaki cargo pants, a USC t-shirt and an XXL black (of course) Hawaiian shirt with enormous venomous-looking pinkyred blossoms exploding on it. "It's me, Mom," he said, tying a red bandana around his head.

I can remember him in his little school uniform, navy pants, white shirt, little plaid clip-on tie and the little sweater with the St John's logo on it....
Do you think that's where I went wrong?

Maybe you could give him some sound fashion advice. I would ask Dan, but... well, Dan dresses very much like Ammo.
I suppose it's better than if he dressed like me.
