Plant a locust tree, when it turns hot and dry you'll have a yard full of little green locust trees.

All that rain early kept me hopping to keep up with the mowing. Then 37 hot, dry days. Nice tan yard that didn't need mowing. Then 3 1/2" in one week and some of the rye and bluegrass has come back but the yard is full of what I call water grass. Wide leaf and very pale.

I'll add this instead of editing. There's a golf course in Superior, Wisconsin that has beautiful grass all summer. Every night the fog rolls in off Lake Superior and lays down an all night soaking of a quarter inch of moisture.
