Hi Softechie -- my plan to get the NASDAQ to rally 500 points ...

Convince Microsoft to start paying a .40 per share per year dividend. Basically a 1% yield at current share prices.

ORCL, CSCO, and DELL will follow suit (their egos won't let Bill Gates "one-up" them) with 1% dividends too.

None of these companies are hurting for cash so its not like they can't afford to pay the dividend. IBM returns 20% of its profits to shares holders (.60 per share per year dividend) Why shouldn't MSFT, CSCO, ORCL, and DELL ?
