I hope it is not a repeat. My nephew got married (our backgorond is a normal conservative rural POV....throw up the hay bales, throw the rocks on the stone-boat, and dig up some potatoes for supper). My nephew (and wife) had become born again in a CVhristian sect which took the bible VERY literally. She practically submitted to a lifetime of slavery...and the minister/preach was very explicit in pointing out that she was merely an adjunct to her husband. My mouth was hanging out. Actually, males still do run the world--from hydro to sewers to roased ducks. Thank goodness for a well made bed and a woman in it...
