American elections go on for months, even years, but the true aggregate voting decisions take place in a time period not exceeding two weeks before election day. The two most effective strategies of the last few cycles have been negative advertising and illegal vote fabrication. The former will endure, while the latter will become more controllable, as the general public has become more aware, and the states are becoming gradually more adept at preventing it at the source...
